Ready, Willing & Able | The Doe Fund

For the past seven years, The New York Enterprise Report (NYER) has recognized the tri-state area's top small businesses for their accomplishments. This year, NYER has announced that The Doe Fund, a New York-based nonprofit which provides comprehensive job-training services to formerly homeless and incarcerated men, has been nominated as a finalist for the "Nonprofit of the Year" category.

“Nonprofit of the Year” finalists were chosen based on their unique approaches to serving those in need throughout the New York metropolitan area. Four nonprofits were selected as finalists out of dozens of applicants for each category and will be recognized at an awards ceremony in October.

“We are proud to recognize the achievements and accomplishments of The Doe Fund,” said Robert Levin, Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of The New York Enterprise Report. “The use of their unique revenue-generating businesses model has given them a distinct competitive advantage over their competitors, and we congratulate them for their initiatives and innovative thinking.”

The Best Practice and Best of the Year winners will be announced at the Small Business Awards Gala on Wednesday, October 10th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City.
