A giving of thanks at the city's rescue missions and soup kitchens

Bloomberg carved turkey yesterday at the Doe Fund's Harlem Center for Opportunity, a job training program for formerly homeless people and ex-cons.

"We have people who aren't as lucky as we are, haven't been dealt a good hand," he said. "We can do something to help them become productive parts of society, and that is exactly what the Doe Fund does."
